We are trucking right a long. At the time of this post, I’m currently in Flyiedgiae QN-T d3-17, roughly 35% through my entire journey. It’s a lot. But the Exploration Rank is ticking up, so my goal is being accomplished. Also…I’m seeing some really stellar things… See what I did there? Heck you, that was awesome…

Thor’s Eye…

Truth be told, I forgot to take a screenshot of Thor’s Eye like it’s supposed to look. This is as close as I got. I had left the system before I remembered to do it right…

The way that is supposed to look is the nebula on top of that cluster of starts. But it looks cool either way I guess. You’ll notice that I’m in Javelin now. Nothing Ventured has a great jump range and all the slots I need to do exploration but man do Asp Explorers run hot. Fuel scooping was getting more dangerous than I wanted it to be.

I did end up having to back track some to get Columbia refueled.

I zigged when I should have zagged…

That sharp turn back toward the bubble after the steep down plane turn was me heading back to get the carrier. I’ve been better about making sure it’s ahead of me or at least along on my current route before I have to stop and transfer more fuel from storage to the depot.

I’m starting to think I don’t have enough Tritium. On top of that it might be an issue getting more through the market after today’s game patch. We’ll see when I get to Colonia. I should have just filled the entire hold when it was cheap. Aw well. If I have to mine Tritium to get home I can. I brought everything I need with me.

Lagoon Sector NI-S b4-10…

There isn’t a lot that’s notable about this stop other than there’s a deep space outpost here that’s operated by the Colonia Council. It served as a way to just stop somewhere and turn in cartography data and gain some rep with that faction.

Bleia Dryiae HF-W b35-1…

Y’all. This shit is green.

This is why I wanted to do this. I could have made a straight shot to Colonia by now and been there already. But seeing things like this…man… worth it.

Where I am now and what’s to come…

This trip is generating a lot of content for here and I want to space it out but I also don’t want to get so far ahead, I forget to include things in the recap. Like I said at the top, I’m in Flyiedgiae QN-T d3-17 about to check out a teeny world.

In the next log, I’ll tell you about my first encounter with a black hole and other notable stellar phenomena.
